Pattaya City hall Mayoral elections. – Four candidates running for mayor of Pattaya in the May election registered their candidacy at Pattaya City Hall this morning (Thursday) and drew lots for their candidate numbers. Candidates for the governor and city councilors in Pattaya must register at the same time as those for the governor and city councilors in Bangkok. On May 22nd, both cities will have elections.

At 8:30 am at  Pattaya City Hall. Lt. Pramote Tubtim, Director of the Pattaya City Election as chairman of the lottery to select the number of candidates for the mayor of Pattaya City In order for the lottery candidates to choose a candidate identification number

Mr. Gurnam Singh (Gama) & Mr. Gurcharan Singh (Guri) previously worked as promoters of walking street. They allegedly took him to Jomtien beach to party and drink until midnight. At some point after the party, Mr. Dey lent them his phone to ask for assistance in booking a cab. According to Mr. Dey’s testimony, the men said that one of their friends needed urgent help and they took off with their bike.

When he realized that his phone was with them and he had no transportation, he asked locals to assist him. He then managed to get a ride back to his hotel. He waited for a day for his friends to return his phone. Their phones could not be reached and they have not come to his hotel. At some point, he called the K Bank Customer Care hotline to check on his account. He was informed that his balance is 46 baht.

Mr. Dey asked for details and found out that about 1.6 million baht has been debited on March 19, 2022. The bank informed him three withdrawals of 500,000 each and a 127,000 withdrawal has been made. He contacted his friends who know Guri & Gama to track them and was told that they flew back to India on March 19, 2022.

The local police launched an investigation to track the routing of the transfers and will provide details soon.

On March 3, 2022, in room number 820 on the 8^th floor of Laguna Beach Resort 3 at Jomtien, Pattaya, he was arrested in the early hours of the morning. At the police station, it was discovered that the ahs overstayed his visa for a year.

Fellow Indians and religious devotees came down to the police station asking him to apologize for disrespecting Maa Durga. They also came to talk to him to tell him the importance of respecting other religions.

Indo-Thai spoke with some of the devotees who expressed their anger. His actions were not to be tolerated at any cost. Everyone should respect all communities and all religions.

Mr. Harinder Singh will remain on remand for 15-30 days before he will be deported to India.
