EU to Increase Belarus Sanctions Amidst Growing Migrant Crisis

The European Union is to intensify sanctions against the Republic of Belarus in
response to a growing migrant dilemma within the Belarus-Poland border.

Diplomat Josep Borell of the EU had verified the action, stating that the unguarded
migrants were being used in a hybrid war that is escalating.

Belarus had recently denied an allegation, concerning the issue that it is forcing
migrants towards its borders to sabotage security.

And on Monday, November 15, 2021, multitudes of migrants were stopped at a
crossing by Polish armed forces.

Those migrants had arrived at the border from a huge provisional camp at the
Kuznica border crossing where thousands of migrants had camped out in tents just
within the territories of Belarus.

Relatively, some hundreds of these migrants have been put into a serious predicament as they wish to pass across Poland although Polish troops have been blocking them and at the same time they are also being prevented from fleeing back to Belarus.
