On Sunday, Delhi Capitals star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Andrew Tye decided to withdraw from the tournament. After this, Adam Jampa and Ken Richardson of Royal Challengers Bangalore also decided to withdraw from the tournament.

Cricket Australia (CA) has also confirmed this. CA said that due to the deteriorating conditions in India due to Corona, the players have taken this decision. Before this, Liam Livingstone of Rajasthan has also returned to England due to bio bubble fatigue.
