Constitution Day of India 2025 Celebrated in Bangkok

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), Embassy of India in Bangkok, marked Constitution Day of India on 26 November 2025 with an intimate yet meaningful gathering.

Guests enjoyed an insightful talk on “The Constitution of India” by Assoc. Prof. Surat Horachaikul of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Political Science and Director of the Indian Studies Center. He shared clear insights about how India’s Constitution was built and why it still matters today.

The event also featured a beautiful Bharatanatyam dance performance by ICCR Scholar Ms. Awassada Klinsakhon, whose graceful movements and expressions truly impressed the audience.

The celebration welcomed distinguished guests, members of the Indian diaspora, and friends of India in Thailand, including Ms. Paulomi Tripathi (Deputy Chief of Mission), Mr. R. Muthu (Counsellor – Personnel), and Ms. Jagpreet Kaur (Second Secretary – E&C and PIC) from the Embassy of India in Bangkok.

A warm, engaging atmosphere brought everyone together, honoring the spirit of India’s Constitution while highlighting the vibrant cultural ties shared between India and Thailand.
