Emirates Launches Upgraded Flights to Bangkok and Phuket

Dubai, UAE – Emirates is set to elevate global travel standards once again, introducing its newly refurbished Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s to eight major international destinations, including two of Thailand’s most popular cities: Bangkok and Phuket.

The upgrades promise a new era of luxury, comfort, and cutting-edge technology for travelers, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to delivering world-class experiences. Alongside these upgrades, the airline will also debut its long-anticipated Airbus A350 to Adelaide later this year, expanding its premium fleet offering.

Bangkok Welcomes the Refreshed Airbus A380

Starting July 1, 2025, travelers flying between Dubai and Bangkok will be able to enjoy the enhanced Airbus A380 experience. Known for its spacious, quieter cabins and superior comfort, the revamped A380 brings newly designed interiors, upgraded Premium Economy seating, and the latest in in-flight entertainment technology.

The move underscores Bangkok’s importance as a top-tier travel hub for both leisure and business travelers. Emirates’ investment in this route highlights the airline’s dedication to making journeys to the vibrant Thai capital even more luxurious and enjoyable.

Phuket to Benefit from Upgraded Boeing 777 Service

Phuket, the jewel of southern Thailand, will see Emirates’ newly upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft begin service on December 1, 2025, operating the popular EK396/397 daily flights.

Passengers heading to this tropical paradise can look forward to an enhanced travel experience featuring redesigned cabin interiors, state-of-the-art entertainment systems, and increased comfort in every class. The improvements align perfectly with Phuket’s global reputation as a premier beach and leisure destination, providing visitors a seamless luxury experience from the sky to the sea.

Broader Expansion to Top Global Cities

In addition to Bangkok and Phuket, Emirates’ newly enhanced fleet will soon serve other key cities, including Hong Kong, Nice, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Frankfurt, and Perth.

Each destination will benefit from either the upgraded Airbus A380s or the refreshed Boeing 777s, bringing an unparalleled flying experience characterized by luxurious new seating, ambient lighting, enhanced Premium Economy cabins, and modernized lounges onboard select aircraft.

Notably, Emirates’ new Airbus A350 will also take flight later this year, with Adelaide set as its first long-haul destination. The A350, known for its advanced fuel efficiency and quieter engines, will offer travelers a spacious and relaxing journey to Australia starting December 2025.

Commitment to Excellence

With these fleet upgrades, Emirates is poised to serve over 70 cities with either retrofitted or next-generation aircraft, maintaining its position as a global leader in premium air travel. The Emirates Engineering Centre is executing aircraft refurbishments at a remarkable pace, completing one wide-body jet makeover every three weeks.

The strategic fleet expansion and modernization aim to deliver an unparalleled travel experience for millions of global passengers, making destinations like Bangkok and Phuket even more accessible in comfort and style.
