The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, under the Embassy of India Bangkok, in collaboration with Suro Bharati Sangeet Kala Kendra and the Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Arts, successfully hosted an International Art Exhibition on the theme “Indian Gods & Goddesses” from 30–31 March 2026.

Held at Chulalongkorn University, the exhibition brought together art, culture, and scholarship—highlighting the deep spiritual and artistic heritage of India and its influence across Asia.
The event opened on 30 March with insightful remarks from Dr. Suradech Chotiudompant, who emphasized the enduring cultural significance of Indian deities in shaping artistic traditions across the region.

Guests also heard engaging talks from Mr. Arijit Chakraborty and Ms. Anita Bose, who explored the symbolism and evolving interpretations of Indian Gods and Goddesses in art.
Adding a strong academic dimension, scholars from Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Arts presented on “Hindu Deities in Thai Paintings,” offering fascinating insights into the historical and cultural connections between Indian and Thai artistic expressions.

The exhibition attracted a vibrant audience of distinguished guests, academics, artists, and members of the Indian diaspora—making it a meaningful platform for cross-cultural dialogue and appreciation.
