Music in the Park – Celebrating 50 Years of Ireland–Thailand Friendship

Bangkok came alive on 7 December 2025 as the city teamed up with the Embassy of Ireland in Thailand to host Music in the Park, celebrating 50 years of Ireland–Thailand relations. The riverside stage at Benjakitti Park welcomed hundreds of visitors for an enchanting evening as the Bangkok Metropolitan Orchestra (BMO) performed orchestral arrangements of iconic songs by world-famous Irish artists, including U2, Westlife, The Script, Hozier, and Enya.

Each piece was specially arranged to showcase the richness of Irish music through a modern symphonic lens.
