Music in the Park Returns Across Bangkok This January 2026

Bangkok, Thailand — Bangkok is starting the year on a high note as “Music in the Park” returns throughout January 2026, bringing free live performances to some of the city’s most popular green spaces. From jazz and big band to classical orchestras and traditional Thai performances, the month-long programme invites locals and travellers alike to enjoy music under the open sky.

Organised across multiple weekends, the event features performances by leading ensembles such as the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Bangkok Metropolitan Orchestra, Bangkok Big Band, and several youth and school bands, turning Bangkok’s parks into vibrant cultural gathering spots.

A City-Wide Celebration of Music

Concerts will take place at well-known locations including Benjakitti Park, Lumpini Park, Suan Luang Rama VIII Park, Wachirabenchathat Park, and Santichaiprakarn Park. Most performances begin in the late afternoon, making them ideal for a relaxed evening outing after work or a leisurely weekend stroll.

The programme is designed to appeal to all ages, with a diverse mix of musical styles. Alongside orchestral and jazz performances, audiences can also enjoy Thai long drum shows, classical Thai dance, and a Khon performance titled “Narai Subdues Nonthok,” highlighting Thailand’s rich performing arts heritage.
