Bangkok, Thailand — The Young Designers 2025 Fashion Show and Awards Ceremony took place at ICONSIAM on October 28, with Deputy Minister of Interior Sasithorn Kittidhrakul presiding over the event. The showcase highlighted the government’s ongoing support for Thai textiles and the country’s growing creative industries.

Organized by the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Interior, the national competition brought together top young designers from across Thailand. Each finalist presented a collection that reimagined traditional Thai fabrics through fresh, modern designs.
Deputy Minister Sasithorn said the Young Designers 2025 project continues the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, who has worked to bring Thai textile artistry to global attention. The initiative also reflects the lifelong dedication of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, whose efforts helped preserve and promote Thai weaving traditions.
She added that projects like this are key to building Thailand’s creative economy by creating more opportunities for local artisans and designers.
The event closed on a high note, showing how Thailand’s fashion scene continues to evolve — where the next generation of designers carries the country’s cultural story forward.
