BMC may soon take demolition action on Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow ‘Pratiksha’. In fact, BMC wants to do road widening work there since 2017. For this, the walls of the building around the bungalow have been demolished in 2019 itself, but then BMC did not take action on Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow. Now action can be taken on this bungalow of Amitabh very soon.
The bungalow wall is being demolished to widen Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg. The route starts from the ‘Pratiksha’ bungalow and leads to the Askon temple. The width of Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg is currently only 45 feet. BMC wants to increase its width to 60 feet, so that it can get rid of the day-to-day jams here.
Two bungalows are coming under the ambit of this road widening. One waits for Amitabh Bachchan, the other industrialist KV Satyamurthy’s bungalow. Most of Satyamurthy’s bungalow is coming under the ambit of widening. That’s why he had moved the court after getting the BMC’s notice.
According to Amitabh’s neighbors, the walls of his building were demolished by the BMC while taking action in 2019, but till now no action has been taken on Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Pratiksha’ bungalow. For the past several days, BMC employees are coming there and measuring. A marking has also been done on the wall of the bungalow. Many people are also raising questions about the BMC not taking action on Amitabh’s bungalow.
This is the first bungalow bought by the Bachchan family in Juhu. Apart from this, Amitabh has two more bungalows in the same area. Amitabh lives in ‘Jalsa’ with his family. His third bungalow ‘Janak’ is also a few steps away from Jalsa, which is used as an office.
Talking about Amitabh Bachchan’s work front, he will soon be seen in films like Chehre, Jhund and Brahmastra. Amitabh was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
