In view of the cases of Corona, the Canadian government has once again increased the ban on passenger flights coming from India. The government has extended this ban till September 21. The Federal Transport Ministry has given this information on the previous day.
Earlier this ban was till August 21, which has now been extended till September 21. In fact, in view of the second wave of the corona pandemic and the increasing cases of delta variants, the Canadian government, imposed for the first time on April 22, has been extended for the fifth time till September 21. Officials said the ban was being extended on public health advice.
Apart from this, the Government of Canada said that the requirements related to third country pre-departure corona test have also been increased for passengers going from India to Canada through the indirect route. Passengers will require a Covid negative RT-PCR test. At the same time, the government also said that if the situation of Corona improves by the month of September, then it will open its borders to fully vaccinated travelers from 7 September.
On Sunday, 35 thousand 499 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country. At the same time 447 people died. Now the number of active cases in the country is four lakh two thousand 188. The recovery rate of the country has now increased to 97.40 percent.
According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, till 7 pm on Sunday, people in the country have received 50 crore 68 lakh 10 thousand 492 vaccines of corona vaccine and out of which 55 lakh 91 thousand 657 doses have been given in a day.
