A lot has changed during the Corona era. Work from home has also had a big impact on women’s wardrobe. However, in the meantime, the relationship of women with make-up has not weakened in the slightest, but has increased. A report in the Journal of Cosmetic Medicine claimed that even though women remained locked in the house due to Covid, they remained constantly connected with the whole world through social media. She has also used make-up a lot to present herself better in the virtual world.
It is found from this report that due to Covid and lockdown, the number of women wearing all make-up has come down. During Covid only 2.84 percent women have done makeup as against 3.59% women before Covid, but it is also found that despite being locked in the house, only 0.75% women distanced themselves from makeup. From make-up influencers to women’s makeup trends, there was a tremendous change and they became trend setters even after staying at home during Covid and especially the lockdown. While the student and working women were at the fore in doing makeup, the home maker did not shy away from doing makeup.
Influence of social media increased the demand for makeup
In a survey conducted among 245 women in South Korea, it was found that women have started doing more makeup since Covid. Women in India have started being in trend by seeing social media influencers, they make up and dress up like them. Rather, at the time of lockdown, most of the girls made videos of makeup tutorials which were quite a hit.
After applying the mask, the makeup kit of women changed like this
Whenever makeup is being talked about during the Corona period, most of the women are interested in makeup. They have become an integral part of Protect makeup kits like Colorful Eye Liner, Eye Shadow Palette, Colorful Mascara, Lashes, Eyebrow Definer, Eyebrow Palette and Eyebrow Filler Pencil.
Before Corona, women used to pay more attention to the trend of lipstick and different types of lip makeup while doing makeup, due to the wearing of masks, their entire focus has shifted to eye makeup. But this does not mean that lipstick has disappeared from the market, because every woman knows that makeup cannot be complete without lipstick. This is the reason that now many big beauty brands have started preparing lipsticks that stay inside the mask. In addition to matte lipsticks, we are promoting smudge free lipsticks which do not fade away even after applying a mask.
In a survey conducted among 10,646 people by the Power Review organization in America, it was found that 56% of people have adopted skin care products during the Corona period, because now they have more time to take care of their skin and themselves than before. In the lockdown, about 57% of women ordered beauty products from online shopping, while till 2019 the number was hardly between 16-18%.
