Corona cases have started increasing once again in China due to which schools have to be closed in the Chinese city of Shanghai. While taking protective measures, about 500 flights have been cancelled there. More recently, a new variant of Covid-19 has been found in South Africa. This variant is capable of affecting even people who have been vaccinated against Covid and it is mutating very rapidly.
Due to this, there is an atmosphere of concern in India and other parts of the world including Europe and Asia. In such a situation, a total of 6 cases of Covid-19 have been found in 3 cities in China. Due to these new cases found in China, there is an atmosphere of fear in China. According to the local administration of Shanghai, three women have been found to be Covid infected there.
The three women travelled together last week to the neighboring city of Suzhou, where they dined with two men from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. On doing the Covid test of these two people who came in close contact, a positive result has come. Apart from this, when the Covid test of the person who came in close contact of both of those people was done, his result has also come positive.
Significantly, before these 6 cases, the Delta variant that came in mid-October had infected more than 1,300 people in 21 provinces of China. In such a situation, taking precautions, the local administration has canceled hundreds of flights there. According to the instructions of the local administration of Shanghai, all the cross-provincial tour packages related to the city have been cancelled. At the same time, six Shanghai hospitals have also stopped outpatient services for some time.
