People suffering from diabetes should keep trying to control it by using preventive measures.

Green leafy vegetables
Consuming green and leafy vegetables can be especially beneficial for diabetics. Green vegetables are extremely nutritious and low in calories. Spinach, kale and other leafy greens are known to be good sources of many vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C.

Eggs
Eating eggs is also considered beneficial for diabetics. Eggs reduce inflammation in the body and improve insulin sensitivity. A 2019 study found that adding eggs to breakfast can help manage blood sugar levels. It is also considered helpful in easily fulfilling the requirements of protein in the body.

Nuts
Research has shown that eating nuts can be an effective way to help control blood sugar levels. A study of 25 people with type 2 diabetes showed that consuming nuts such as peanuts and almonds can reduce fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels. Walnut consumption is also considered beneficial.

Bitter gourd
Consuming bitter gourd is considered particularly beneficial for diabetic patients. Bitter gourd can be helpful in controlling blood sugar by promoting the metabolism of glucose in the body. According to experts, consuming bitter gourd juice every morning on an empty stomach can be beneficial for diabetics. Bitter gourd vegetable can also be consumed.

Fenugreek
The herbs present in our kitchen are considered to be treasures of health. Fenugreek present in the kitchen is also considered very beneficial for diabetics. Along with promoting glucose tolerance, fenugreek consumption is helpful in lowering blood sugar levels and stimulating insulin secretion. Soak 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds in water overnight and drink this water on an empty stomach the next morning. This will help bring down your glucose level.
