Czech Republic President Milos Zeman, 77, was hospitalized on Sunday, a day after the parliamentary election. That too at a time when he has an important role to play in forming the new government. In the Czech Republic, the President has the right to choose the new Prime Minister of the country. Confirming this, Prague’s military hospital said that Zeman had been brought here from the presidential residence. The doctor who admitted him to the hospital is likely to give information about his health soon.
Actually, President Zeman smokes and he also has diabetes. Due to which he has started having difficulty in walking and he is using a wheelchair. Zeman, who was suffering from diabetes, was discharged from the hospital a few days ago. He was admitted to the hospital on September 14, 2021. His office had called it a pre-determined inquiry.
Earlier on Sunday, Zeman met his close aide Prime Minister Andre Babis in Lani. Babis-led ANO Movement party lost the parliamentary election by a narrow margin on Saturday.
