All restrictions, including night curfews and limitations on socio-religious gatherings and educational institutions, were abolished at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, according to PTI. Wearing masks and social separation in public areas, as well as the use of hand sanitizers, shall continue until further instructions, according to Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah’s directive.
Meanwhile, Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi has declared that physical lessons would resume for final-year postgraduate students on March 2 and for final-year undergraduate students in mid-March. For students attending offline classes, the university requires a negative RTPCR report as well as a valid ID card. The decision was made a day after schools reopened for pupils of all grades, owing to a decrease in Covid-19 cases in Delhi.
