Consuming Peanut Decreases Risk of Type-2 Diabetes in Diabetics

According to a study by the American Medical Association, eating peanuts significantly reduces the risk of type-2 diabetes among diabetics. The manganese present in it helps to balance calcium absorption, fat and carbohydrate metabolism and blood sugar levels in the blood.

It is safe for diabetics to eat peanuts, for it contains sufficient amount of magnesium, which helps in lowering blood sugar levels. One study found that magnesium controls blood sugar levels.

Peanut intake also increases digestive power. If you eat peanuts on a regular basis, then it maintains your health and helps to digest food. But keep in mind that consuming peanuts in large quantities can also be harmful. So eat peanuts in limited quantities.

Meanwhile, Yoga has also been found to cure diabetes.  Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana, Ardh-Matsyendrasana are the asanas recommended for diabetics for curing diabetes.
