QSNCC Fuels Thailand’s Role as Southeast Asia’s Premier “Digital Gateway”

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is gearing up to host three significant digital events this August, solidifying Thailand’s ambition to emerge as the preeminent “Digital Gateway” of Southeast Asia. These events, set to foster knowledge exchange and industry connectivity, underscore Thailand’s growing focus on the digital economy.

Leading the charge is the “Techsauce Global Summit 2023,” slated for the 16th and 17th of August. Organized by Techsauce Media Limited, the summit stands as this year’s largest technology conference across Southeast Asia. With its thematic emphasis on “Social Impact, Climate Tech, Cutting Edge Technology,” the event aims to galvanize Thailand’s technology ecosystem. It aspires to establish a nexus between investment opportunities, public-private collaboration, and the burgeoning landscape of Thai entrepreneurs and startups.

Simultaneously on the 16th and 17th of August, the “AI Thailand Forum 2023: Embracing The Future of AI” will convene. This event, orchestrated by the Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurs Association of Thailand (AIEAT) and the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT), seeks to propagate AI knowledge. The forum is positioned as a foundational initiative to propel the development of artificial intelligence technology within Thailand, ushering in an era of AI-driven progress.

Breaking new ground is the “HACKaTHAILAND 2023: DIGITAL INFINITY” event, slated for the 25th and 26th of August. Under the aegis of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), this exhibition underscores five distinct zones, including the “Tech Showcase.” This segment will spotlight contemporary digital technologies within spheres like commerce, tourism content, and health tech. Such a comprehensive exploration reinforces Thailand’s growing prowess as a digital innovation hub.

The convergence of these three dynamic digital events within the QSNCC highlights its pivotal role as a premier event platform. This commitment is echoed by Surapol Utintu, the CEO of N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd., the operator of QSNCC. He underscores the readiness of the center to cater to the exacting needs of digital event organizers, harnessing state-of-the-art technologies and international standards.

Surapol Utintu further elaborates that these events not only endorse the emergent Thai digital industry, but also spotlight its substantial contributions on the global stage. Recognizing the digital industry as a potent driver of Thailand’s overall economic growth, he underscores its ability to position Thailand as a pivotal “digital gateway” within the Southeast Asian region.

The synergistic collaboration between the public and private sectors, as facilitated by these marquee digital events, is set to weave a robust network. This network, driven by shared vision and goals, is poised to epitomize the burgeoning potential of Thailand’s digital industry. Furthermore, these events are expected to provide sustainable impetus to the growth of Thailand’s digital economy.

As Thailand’s trajectory towards digital preeminence accelerates, these three events stand as pivotal milestones. Their confluence within the QSNCC not only elevates the convention center’s stature as a cutting-edge hub but also underscores Thailand’s determined stride toward becoming Southeast Asia’s unrivaled “Digital Gateway.”
