Russia on UK and USA Sanctions

Russia on UK and USA – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accuses the US of inflating the issue with Ukraine. “To our dismay, American media have lately been publishing a very large amount of unverified, distorted, and deliberately deceitful information about what’s happening in Ukraine and around it,” Peskov said Monday.

“Hysteria hyped up by Washington is causing hysteria in Ukraine, almost to the point that people are packing their bags for the front. It’s a fact,” added Peskov. Even President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the same subject. He asked world leaders not to cause panic. The president also said that since Crimea’s invasion, Ukrainians learned to live with the threat.

Pescov asked western countries “to take a more constructive approach”. The current wave of panic is causing harm to businesses and financial institutions. “It’s an open attack on business,” he added.

Both the US and UK representatives have identified business individuals who currently have ties to Russia. They said that should Russia invade Ukraine; they will impose heavy sanctions.

“In general, the Anglo-Saxons are widely escalating tensions on the European continent,” Peskov said.

Current diplomatic conversations are ongoing as Russia has sent its reply to the US. This is in response to a letter sent by the US last week. US State Department officials say that the report has been received. They are not published with respect to the ongoing negotiations.
