The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has been working diligently to coordinate with Israeli authorities to ascertain the extent of the crisis. Their paramount mission is to provide immediate assistance to those in distress.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, reiterated the Royal Thai Government’s unwavering stance against all forms of violence. He emphatically demanded the immediate release of innocent people who have been caught up in the turmoil, underlining Thailand’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens.

In a tweet, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin condemned the attack on Israel, saying: “I condemn the attack on Israel. Inhumane attacks that cost innocent lives and injuries. And I would like to express my deepest condolences to the government and people of Israel. This incident should not have happened. And I join with the international community in condemning such actions.”

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin also announced decisive action by ordering the Air Force to prepare Airbus A340 and C-130 aircraft to evacuate Thai people from Israel immediately. Air Chief Marshal Phanpakdee Pattanakul, Commander of the Air Force, has acknowledged the directive and stands ready to take action.

“I am following the situation closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the Prime Minister continued. “And we are concerned to see reports that two or more Thai workers have been arrested. We are now confirming the information from the Israeli authorities. The army and emergency medical units are preparing. I want all Thai people to return home safely.”

In response to the ongoing crisis, an Emergency Coordination Center meeting has been scheduled for today at 13:00 hours at the Department of Consular Affairs.
