Ukraine is Fighting Back According to President Zelensky

Ukraine is fighting back according to President Zelensky as they try to drive back the Russian invaders in the country. Over 1,000 Russian tanks, almost 200 Russian aircraft, and approximately 2,500 armored battle vehicles have already been destroyed by the Ukrainian army.

“Of course, the occupiers still have equipment in stock. Yes, they still have missiles to strike at our territory,” he added. “But this war has already weakened Russia so much that they have to plan (to have) even fewer military equipment for the parade in Moscow.”

Russia has issued low casualty estimates on a periodic basis, which analysts believe to be a significant underestimation. Two top NATO military officials assessed the number of Russian servicemen killed in action in Ukraine to be between 7,000 and 15,000 two days previous to Russia’s update. Other US officials estimated Russian losses in the range of 7,000 to 14,000 men killed around the same time, but they expressed “poor confidence” in those estimates.

In an interview with Sky News earlier this month, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia has suffered “substantial” army losses in Ukraine, calling the losses “a terrible tragedy” for the country.

The truce, which was due to start at 6 a.m. local time, started around 11 a.m. local time, according to Capt. Svyatoslav Palamar, deputy commander of the Azov Regiment.

“As of now, it’s the truth, both sides follow the ceasefire regime,” he said.

The evacuation convoy was very delayed, he said. “Since 6 a.m., we’ve been waiting for the evacuation convoy to arrive, which only arrived at 6:25 p.m.”

“As of now, the rescue operation is ongoing, conducted by the servicemen of Azov – we rescue the civilians from under the rubble,” he added.
