In all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, the state government has decided to relax the corona curfew on Tuesday as the cases under treatment of Covid-19 are less than 600. Now markets will be able to open in the entire state from 7 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday. Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal said that from Wednesday, June 9, there will be a night curfew in all 75 districts of the entire state from 7 pm to 7 am only. He said that now all the districts of the state are out of corona curfew, because at present the cases of active infection in all the districts are below 600.
The official said that the infection rate in the state has reduced to only 0.2%, while the recovery rate of patients has improved to 97.9%. A total of 14,067 corona virus patients are being treated in Uttar Pradesh. He said that for two consecutive days the daily cases are coming less than 1,000 in the state. In the same period, 2,226 people have gone home from hospitals after recovering.
According to the guidelines, there will be full presence in the front line government departments related to the corona virus prevention campaign, but the remaining government offices will open with a maximum of 50 percent attendance and the 50 percent employees who will be present will be called separately. It has been made mandatory to set up Covid Helpdesk in all the offices. It has been asked to encourage the system of ‘work from home’ in private companies.
Industrial institutions will remain open and the workers working in these institutions will be allowed to move on the basis of their identity card or the certificate of the concerned unit. Vegetable markets will remain open but the administration will get the densely populated vegetable markets opened at open places. According to the order, along with following all the rules of Covid protocol in railway stations, airports and roadways buses, screening and antigen testing will also be done so that symptomatic people can be sent to hospitals for treatment.
Schools, colleges and educational institutions will remain closed for teaching work and online education in secondary and higher educational institutions, coaching classes will be allowed as per departmental orders. Teachers and employees will be allowed to go to school for administrative work.
Except for the prohibition zone, more than five devotees are not allowed to be present at one place at a time inside the religious places of all the remaining areas. The buses of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation have been allowed to operate within the state at the prescribed seat capacity. Coaching institutes, cinemas, gyms, swimming pools, clubs, shopping malls will remain completely closed. In closed or open places, a maximum of 25 invited guests will be allowed to come at a time with the requirement of masks and a distance of two yards. A maximum of 20 people have been allowed to attend the funeral procession.
