The United States had fully authorized the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 making it possible for millions of young Americans to get vaccinated.
After this approval, Pfizer Biotech (Pfizer and BioNTech) said that two doses of this vaccine will be given to children at an interval of 21 days. Albert Bola, chief executive officer of Pfizer, said, “More than 6 million children in America have been infected with corona. Apart from this, many young people and youth have also come under the grip of this pandemic. With the arrival of the vaccine, children will get better protection and it will play a big role in this war against Corona. With this vaccine, we will be able to protect the children, their families, and society for all.”
Before the vaccination of children starts, the FDA of America will take more detailed information about this vaccine on Tuesday. Only after this, the vaccination program of children will be started. FDA Chief Dr. Peter has said that the corona pandemic has not only caused economic loss but also social loss.
The pandemic has had a very bad effect on the physical development as well as social development of the children. About 70 percent of the infected children between the ages of 5 and 11 have faced severe symptoms in the corona pandemic. Along with this, it has also become a major cause of diseases like asthma and obesity.
The US has already been providing the Covid-19 vaccines to children aged 12 and over which impacts approximately 28 million children all over the country.
According to experts, vaccinating the young children of America is required so they can return to their normal life.
