The 72nd Indian Republic Day was celebrated in the Embassy of India, Bangkok. The Indian flag was unfurled by the Ambassador of India to Thailand, HE Ms. Suchitra Durai. The celebration was arranged with all necessary health protocols in the wake of Covid 19. Hon’ble President’s address to the Nation was read out by the Ambassador. She also talked about the COvid 19 Vaccine Maitri initiative of India. 
About 120 Indian nationals were present at the celebration including people form various associations if Indians in Thailand. The event was also streamed live on facebook and was witnessed by thousands online.
