The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Kuala Lumpur City, Selangor State, Malaysia, had discovered the first case of the very infectious corona virus disease 2019 variant which originated in India, as revealed by Adham Baba of the Ministry of Health of Malaysia on Sunday, May 3, 2021.
Relatively, the variant called B1617 was detected on a citizen of India screened at the KLIA.
