One week increased lockdown in Delhi

The lockdown in Delhi has been extended for a week. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday that the lockdown would remain in force till 5 am next Monday (May 3). He said that lockdown is the last weapon against infection. Earlier, the lockdown started in Delhi from 10 pm on 19 April, which was to run till 5 am on 26 April.

Kejriwal once again raised the issue of lack of oxygen. He said that we have been allotted 490 metric tonnes of oxygen from the center, this allotment is not even reaching us. Our daily requirement is 700 MT.

On the other hand, amidst the oxygen crisis in the capital, many hospitals have stopped recruiting new Corona patients. Hospitals have made this decision in compulsion but due to this new patients are facing a lot of difficulties.
