The airport collaborated with Emergency Operation Centre, the International Communicable Disease Control, the Immigration Police Bureau, the Tourist Police Bureau, airlines, and hotel operators. This is to ensure that measures an in place to avoid any case surge. All staff members are also regularly tested. There are also SHA plus certified transportations ready to take tourists to their hotels.

The government is currently discussing downgrading the COVID 19 pandemic to endemic this year. WHO has suggested not to do it for now since the virus is still mutating. Classifying it as an endemic would mean that things may go back to normal. Schools will reopen and people will be going back to work. These action plans are still under review by the CCSA.
