This year India celebrated its 75th Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag and addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort in New Delhi. The theme for this year’s Independence Day is ‘Nation First, Always First’. This day reminds us of the sacrifice and penance of our freedom fighters.
Not just Indian citizens, thousands of Indian-Thao in the Thailand have also begun early celebrations to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. For the first time, the Indian flag was hoisted with pride and patriotism baiyoke tower.

The celebration is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity.
In the Poster and Painting Competition, ICCR invites artistic expression on the theme “My idea of India”. This may include how you envision the India of yesterday, today and the India which will merge from amalgamation of tradition & heritage with a modern scientific technological outlook.
