The celebrations, hosted by the Embassy of India in Bangkok, drew over 500 attendees—including Indian expats, friends of India, and well-wishers from across Thai society.
The morning began with Ambassador Nagesh Singh hoisting the National Flag of India in the Embassy premises. The air was filled with anticipation and pride as guests gathered to mark this historic day. Following the flag hoisting, the Ambassador addressed the gathering, extending heartfelt greetings and reading the Hon’ble Rashtrapatiji’s inspiring Independence Day message—a speech that reflected on India’s progress, unity, and aspirations for the future.
The event wasn’t just a formal commemoration—it was a cultural celebration. Guests enjoyed a series of patriotic music and dance performances by members of the Indian community in Thailand, bringing a colorful and emotional touch to the festivities.
