The Bureau of the Royal Household has issued an official update on the health of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, who has been receiving treatment at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital since December 15, 2022.
Her Royal Highness was admitted after suffering a sudden loss of consciousness due to a heart condition. In the latest statement released on August 9, doctors reported that Princess Bajrakitiyabha developed a severe bloodstream infection. Despite receiving continuous care, the infection has resulted in persistently low blood pressure.
The Bureau explained that physicians are providing intensive treatment, including medication, antibiotics, renal replacement therapy, and respiratory support. A dedicated medical team remains in close attendance, working tirelessly to stabilize Her Royal Highness’s condition.
