Pattaya Rolls Out Citywide Real-Time CCTV System for Safer, Smarter Travel

Pattaya, Thailand — Pattaya has rolled out a major upgrade to its citywide CCTV and traffic monitoring system, giving the public real-time access to key roads, intersections, and popular tourist areas. The initiative aims to make travel smoother, enhance citywide safety, and offer visitors extra peace of mind, especially during peak travel seasons.

The system currently operates over 2,500 cameras across Pattaya, covering everything from major roads to community areas. On Koh Larn, more than 200 cameras are positioned along beaches and popular viewpoints, helping both locals and tourists stay updated before they travel.

For public use, 400 cameras are now accessible online, allowing anyone to check live conditions instantly. You can view them through the official website.

Beyond traffic updates, the upgraded network is also designed to support city safety. The system integrates AI analytics and police data to detect unusual or risky behavior, helping authorities respond faster. It’s also connected to multiple emergency alert channels—another step towards making Pattaya a safer, smarter city.

With more transparency, better monitoring, and easy public access, Pattaya’s new system is a useful tool for travelers planning routes, checking conditions before heading out, or even staying updated on beach areas and crowds on Koh Larn.
