CentralWorld Hosts Student-Led Eco Art and Sustainable Fashion

Bangkok, Thailand – Central Pattana, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Bangkok Provincial Education Office, brought fresh energy and youthful creativity to the heart of Bangkok with the “Better Futures Project 2025”, held from May 19 to 21 at CentralWorld’s Groove zone. The event turned one of the city’s most iconic lifestyle spaces into a Green ART Gallery, spotlighting the next generation of environmental changemakers through eco-conscious art and sustainable fashion.

A Creative Call for a Greener Future

Under the theme (RE) Lifestyle Roadshow, the project showcased innovative student-led environmental initiatives and artistic expressions from Bangkok-based schools. The exhibit featured powerful and inspiring work from:

  • Phumisamit School

  • Wat Amarinthararam School

  • Thonburi Vocational College

Visitors were treated to an immersive experience of visual storytelling through art installations and school projects, each centered on pressing environmental issues such as pollution, recycling, and green innovation.

Sustainable Fashion Takes the Spotlight

On May 19, the event turned up the style with a student eco-fashion runway show—a highlight that drew crowds and applause. Students from Bangkok Secondary Education Service Area Office 2 wowed audiences with collections made entirely from recycled and repurposed materials:

  • “Fufa” by Triam Udom Suksa Suwinthawong School
    Concept: A whimsical design reusing ropes of various textures to create a modern, playful silhouette.

  • “Nam…Jai” by Nawamintharachinuthit Bodindecha School
    Concept: A thought-provoking look crafted from waste materials found in water sources, like fishing nets and plastic debris, transformed with heat-molding techniques.

  • “Reflective Light” by Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) 4 School & Sattrabutr Bamphen School
    Concept: An elegant evening gown that turned CDs and old light tubes into a dazzling, light-reflecting masterpiece.

Eco Video Contest for Students

To continue driving environmental awareness, the Ministry of Education is launching a short video competition focused on sustainability. Open to students nationwide, the contest offers a total scholarship prize pool of 100,000 THB. Details on how to enter will be announced soon, encouraging young creators to share their green vision with the world.
