Delhi Zoo will Reopen on April 1

The zoo of Delhi, which was closed due to Corona pandemic, is going to open once again. From August 1, it is going to open in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon while the second shift will be from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Entry in Delhi’s bird will be possible only through online booking. All the related protocols of Covid-19 will be strictly followed. Online booking will start from July 31. Talking to news agency ANI, Ramesh Pandey, director of Delhi Chidiya Ghar, gave this information.

Significantly, due to Corona, restrictions in many things have been waived. Metro and buses have also been allowed to run from Monday with full capacity in the national capital Delhi. Now people will be able to travel by sitting on all seats, but there is still a ban on traveling standing. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is operating trains with 50 percent seat capacity from June 7 when metro services are restored after a long time due to Kovid-19.

In view of the increase in the number of passengers, 16 additional gates have also been opened at 16 metro stations to facilitate the movement of passengers. DMRC had already opened 260 gates for the passengers, now apart from these, 16 more gates have been opened for the passengers. Now people can use 276 gates at all stations. DMRC said that the stations where additional gates have been opened include Janakpuri West, Karol Bagh, Vaishali, Kashmere Gate, Central Secretariat and MG Road.

Delhi saw an increase in the number of infection cases and deaths during the second wave of corona virus in the months of April and May. However, the situation has improved in the last few weeks, after which the government is reopening the city in a phased manner. Under the latest unlock guidelines, Delhi Metro, the lifeline of the national capital, has been announced to operate with 100% seat capacity from Monday, but passengers will not be allowed to travel standing.

At the same time, DMRC tweeted about the service being affected for a while at 8 am, “Due to mild shaking at around 6.42 am on Monday morning, trains were run at a cautious speed as per standard procedure and stopped at the next platform. Services are normal now.”

Only 50 people can travel in each compartment. Earlier, 300 people used to travel in a coach, 50 people used to sit on the seat and 250 people used to travel standing. DMRC has appealed to the people to travel only when necessary. DMRC has 10 lines in 242 stations, and Gurgaon has a total of 264 stations including Rapid Metro.
