Monsoon Update

Incessant rains in many parts of north-central India have disrupted normal life. Clouds are raining heavily in other parts including Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. At the same time, the country’s capital Delhi-NCR is expected to get relief from the heat today. The India Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thundershowers in Delhi and adjoining areas in the next few hours on Saturday. Let us inform that on Friday, there was a humid summer in the national capital. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 36.7 degree Celsius.

There is a possibility of rain in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan even today. The Meteorological Department said that there may be heavy to heavy rains in the next 48 hours in both these states. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for both these states. Incessant rains have led to flood-like situation in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, rain has also been predicted in many other states.

Rain in these areas
The Indian Meteorological Department said that in the next few hours, there may be rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh including Delhi. IMD tweeted, “Light to moderate rain will occur over Delhi, NCR, Hapur, Amroha, Bulandshahr, Bilari, Baghpat, Chandausi (UP) and adjoining areas during next 2 hours.”

12 people died due to rain in Madhya Pradesh, alert issued
So far 12 people have died in Madhya Pradesh due to the incessant rains in the last few days. The maximum destruction in the state has occurred in Gwalior and Chambal regions. The IMD has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains with ‘Orange and Yellow alert’ in 17 districts of Madhya Pradesh. The IMD has predicted up to 204 mm of rain at different places in five districts of Vidisha, Raisen, Rajgarh, Guna and Ashoknagar.

Bad condition due to rain in Rajasthan
Rajasthan is also in bad condition due to rain. A girl child died when the wall of a house collapsed after incessant rain. The Khanpur, Sarola and Asnawar areas of Jhalawar are already facing a flood-like situation due to rains for the last six days.
