Parks, and Other Venues Resume in Bangkok

Fighting Corona, life has started coming back on track in Thailand, the country is slowly moving towards opening up and now the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration decided to modify the provincial order after the decision to ease restrictions in the “dark red” provinces Parks, sports stadiums, department stores, and other places are now allowed to reopen

As per order of CCSA

  • Restaurants inside the shopping center will open till 8 pm
  • Dine-in services allowed to resume
  • The sale and consumption of alcohol in restaurants is still prohibited.
  • Open-air restaurants may provide dine-in services at 75% capacity while indoor, air-conditioned restaurants are limited to 50% capacity.
  • The curfew is still in force from 9 pm to 4 am and convenience stores should be closed by 8 pm.
  • The gathering is limited to no more than 25 people and organizations are asked to avoid any activity that risks the spread of COVID-19.
  • Hair salons and barber shops can open, but services cannot exceed one hour per customer
  • Massage parlors and spas may open, but may only offer foot massages and appointments must be made in advance.
  • Fresh markets and flea markets can be open until 8 p.m.
  • Stores in shopping centres, community malls or similar establishments may remain open till 8 pm.
  • Beauty clinics, medical clinics for beauty services and cosmetic clinics are allowed to accept clients with advance appointment.
  • Public parks, playgrounds, sports complexes and outdoor swimming pools can open till 8 pm. Spectators are not allowed at events and competitions.

Water parks and amusement parks, fitness centers and arcades must remain closed.

The CCSA also 14,802 new Covid-19 cases and 18,996 recoveries in the 24-hour period since the last count, bringing the number of active cases in Thailand to 166,922.

Bangkok remains the epicentre with 3,732 new Covid-19 cases today, followed by 1,284 in Samut Prakan, 879 in Chon Buri, 864 in Samut Sakhon, and 547 in Rayong.
