The Government of the Kingdom of Thailand is increasing its efforts to repair the Thailand Pass System as glitches had been encountered after its launch on Monday, November 1, 2021, when the country reopened its borders again to foreign guests, as revealed by a government spokesman.
The action comes after objections by several tourists that they had either runned into delays in securing QR codes or in certain cases had not received themat all after their authorization of their travel applications.
According to Spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana of the Thai government on Sunday, that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha had been notified concerning the issue and directed state agencies to mend the latest online system which was meant to smoothen the management of travel and health requirements of both Thai and foreign travelers.
Those who wanted to enter the Kingdom are instructed to follow directions at the tp.consular.go.th.
Moreover, fast approval is one of the main use of the Thailand Pass System platform, particularly for applicants whose vaccine certificates can be validated online through QR code, in which a system has been set in order to verify, Safety and Health Administration (SHA) as well as accomodation bookings and alternative quarantine (AQ) system
