For those traveling to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has opened the sky door for people from 15 countries around the world including India. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has allowed people from 15 countries who have received valid visas to return to the UAE from September 12, who have received both doses of the World Health Organization (WHO)-accredited Kovid-19 vaccine. The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) shared an official statement on Twitter saying that those who can return include those who have been abroad for more than six months.
According to the statement, “The UAE allows returnees who have received both doses of the WHO-recognized COVID-19 vaccine with a valid visa from September 12, 2021. These also include those who lived abroad for more than six months.
This decision of the UAE will give relief to travelers coming from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria and Afghanistan. Giving details about the arrival requirements, the UAE said that travelers can apply through the website of the Federal Identification and Citizenship Authority (ICA).
According to the new guidelines, people going to UAE are also required to have a negative report of RT-PCR of Corona along with the vaccination certificate. The report should not be older than 48 hours. It is also necessary to have a QR code with the test report of the sample so that it can be easily verified at the airport. Children below the age of 16 years will be exempted from these rules.
The UAE’s decision comes as Dubai, one of its seven emirates, is preparing to open the Expo 2020 World Fair on October 1, after a year-long delay due to the pandemic. The regional business and tourism center is dependent on this fair to boost its economy.
