The Bombay High Court on Wednesday granted interim bail of 3 weeks to Nikita Jacob, an accused in the Greta Thunberg toolkit case. During the hearing, Justice PD Naik said that in these three weeks Nikita can go to a Delhi court regarding the case registered against her. Nikita is a lawyer by profession.
The Delhi Police had on February 15 issued a non-bailable warrant declaring Nikita absconding. Nikita then moved the Bombay High Court for quashing the non-bailable warrant and for interim bail. If Nikita is arrested, she will be released on a personal bond of 25 Jar rupees and the same bail amount.
