Actor Randeep Hooda is surrounded in controversy these days. He had made a derogatory joke on Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati. People have described his joke as racist.
The actor has been removed from the post of Ambassador of the Wildlife Conservatory Species Conservation Conference (CMS) by the United Nation. The move comes after an old video went viral in which the actor was seen making fun of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.
The CMS Secretariat said that Hooda was appointed as the CMS ambassador for the migratory species in February 2020, at which time the organization was unaware of the video. Now they are removed with immediate effect once they are known. Please tell this video is from 2012.
Since the video went viral, many people have been demanding to arrest them. One user wrote, “This is not about a Dalit woman. Randeep Hooda is a shame on you. You are accused of sexual exploitation and casteism.”
