Along with this, helicopter facility from Srinagar to the holy cave will also be available to the passengers. Not only this, the accident insurance of passengers has also been increased from the current 3 lakh to 5 lakh. This time 10 thousand passengers will be allowed instead of 7500 per day. There are also plans to build permanent shelters, restrooms, healthcare centers and community kitchens along the route. Divisional commissioners have also been instructed to identify places for this. Several important decisions were taken at the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board meeting on Saturday along with fixing the date of the yatra.
