The 2024 recognition reaffirms Bangkok’s status as one of the most beloved cities for travelers from around the globe.
Other Thai Destinations Shine
In addition to Bangkok’s success, other Thai destinations also earned high praise. Phuket and Ko Samui were named the 3rd and 4th ‘Best Islands’, respectively, highlighting Thailand’s appeal as a premier island getaway destination.
Suvarnabhumi Airport and Thai Airways Recognized
On the aviation front, Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport was named the 2nd ‘Best Airport’. Thai Airways International (THAI) received multiple accolades, including 3rd place in the ‘Best Airlines’ category. THAI also placed 3rd in both the ‘Best Airlines: Premium Classes’ and ‘Best Airlines: Economy Class’ categories, and 5th place for ‘Best In-flight Entertainment’. Furthermore, the airline’s Royal Orchid Plus programme was recognized as the 3rd ‘Best Frequent-Flyer Programme’.
