In a joint effort by The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), The Mall Group, and One Siam, the much-anticipated “Bangkok Shopping Festival 2023” has been officially launched under the theme ‘Shopping Planet.’ Scheduled to run from October 27 to November 26, 2023, the festival aims to elevate Bangkok’s status as a premier global shopping destination, enticing both local and international visitors to indulge in a month-long shopping extravaganza.
Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, expressed enthusiasm about the festival’s potential impact, stating, “By presenting a diverse range of high-quality products and services with exceptional bargains and discounts, the Bangkok Shopping Festival 2023 plays a crucial role in promoting Thai soft power, stimulating economic activity, and reinforcing Thailand’s reputation as one of the world’s most sought-after shopping hubs.”
The festival boasts an impressive up to 80% discount at prominent retail hubs including The Mall, The Mall Lifestore, Emporium, Emquartier, Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, and Siam Discovery. Additionally, shoppers can avail of these fantastic deals through online platforms such as MONLINE.COM, M CHAT & SHOP, and the CALL-TO-ORDER service.
To further sweeten the deal, The Mall Group has strategically planned five ‘Black Weekend’ promotional periods throughout the campaign. M Card holders and participating credit card users can enjoy additional discounts and a cash rebate of up to 40%.
One Siam is introducing special privileges for shoppers through the ONESIAM SuperApp, enhancing the overall shopping experience during the festival.
As a collaborative effort, over 100 tourism business partners are set to join the campaign, providing exclusive privileges to tourists and enhancing the overall vibrancy of the festival.
Anticipating a significant boost in shopper traffic, the campaign aims for a 15-20% year-on-year increase, contributing to a sales volume of approximately 4.6 million Baht. This marks a substantial 10% growth compared to the same period last year.
