Bhupendra Patel has been chosen as the new CM. Bhupendra Patel is the MLA from Ghatlodia seat. Actually, Vijay Rupani suddenly resigned from the post of CM of Gujarat on Saturday. After which the new CM’s name was elected today. Bhupendra Patel will go to meet the Governor at 5.30 pm. On the other hand, 15 ministers can take oath along with Bhupendra Patel tomorrow.
BJP appointed Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Joshi as central observers to elect the new Chief Minister of Gujarat. Both the leaders had reached Shri Kamalam, the BJP office in Gandhinagar. In the meeting of BJP’s legislature party, the name of Bhupendra Patel was agreed upon. This name is shocking because out of all the names that were in discussion for CM, none of them got the chair of Gujarat. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had announced the name of Bhupendra Patel.
