Bhutan to Honor PM Modi with Highest Civilian Award

Another international civilian honor has been added to the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Neighboring country Bhutan will honor PM Modi with its highest civilian award. It has been announced by Bhutan. Bhutan has announced its highest civilian award, Ngadag Pel Gi Khorlo, to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Earlier, many countries have honored PM Modi with their highest civilian honor.

On behalf of the Prime Minister’s Office of Bhutan, it was said, ‘We are very happy with the decision to honor PM Modi with Bhutan’s highest civilian honour. The cooperation and support that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has given to Bhutan during the Corona and in the past years, is unmatched. You deserve this honour. Many congratulations to you from the people of Bhutan.

After becoming Prime Minister for the second time in 2019, Narendra Modi made his first foreign tour to Bhutan and during the visit the Prime Minister met the country’s top leadership to strengthen bilateral ties. Relations between India and Bhutan have steadily strengthened over the years.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Russia and Maldives have honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their highest civilian honour.
