Jitendra Singh Bablu, who was facing a dozen cases, was a strong BSP MLA in the Mayawati government. From Ayodhya to Lucknow, he used to speak his words. He started being counted among the leaders close to Mayawati. His brother was made MLC by Mayawati. In the meantime, such an incident happened that Bablu came in the headlines across the country. In Lucknow, there was an attempt to burn the house of the then state Congress president Rita Bahuguna. A case was registered against Bablu and his associates. He also had to go to jail. Rita Bahuguna is now in BJP. He is the party’s Lok Sabha MP from Prayagraj. She was also a minister in the Yogi government.
