BJP worker fired at Nadia in Bengal, TMC accused

The assembly election dates have been announced in West Bengal and with this both the Bharatiya Janata Party and TMC have been attacking each other. Now the local BJP leader has been shot and injured in Nadia district of Bengal. A 32-year-old local leader has been shot dead in Haringata area. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party has accused TMC workers and leaders of shooting. SP VSR Anantnag of Ranaghat district said that during a patrol, police personnel found Sanjay Das near a tea shop in Santoshpur, Kapileshwar and admitted him to the hospital. Sanjay Das underwent treatment after hospitalization, after which he is now out of danger. The BJP has alleged that the TMC goons were behind the attack. The TMC, however, denied the allegation and claimed that it was the result of a confrontation between members of a group, who are associated with the saffron party.
