BKU to send teams to poll-bound states

Farmers’ organizations, which have been agitating against the new agricultural laws for more than 3 months, have now decided to spoil the BJP game in the electoral states. The United Kisan Morcha held a press conference on the Singhu border and said that it will send the peasant leaders to the contested states, so that the farmers there can be appealed to defeat the BJP. Apart from this, the farmers will also block the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway on 6 March to mark 100 days of the movement. On March 8, on Women’s Day, women protesters will lead demonstrations at other places, including Delhi’s borders. Kisan Morcha leader Yogendra Yadav said that the expressway would be jammed at different places for 5 hours. The leader of the organization will hold a public meeting in Kolkata on 12 March. Yadav said that our leaders will also visit Karnataka. Farmers there are getting at least 1000 rupees less than the MSP on crops. Yadav said that we have a meeting with 10 big trade unions. It has been decided that peasants and laborers will fight this battle together. On March 15, workers and workers will take to the streets across the country against privatization. Farmers will also join them.
