ED questions Rakulpreet Singh
Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh is being questioned in a 2017 drug related case. For this, the Hyderabad office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had called on September 6, but Rakul had requested to prepond this inquiry due to her busy schedule. Due to which the ED had asked him to appear on September 3. Along with Rakul, 12 big actors of South including Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Puri Jagannath and Navdeep were also called for questioning. Film cinematographer Shyam K Naidu, actors Subbaraju, Tanish, Nandu and Ravi Teja’s driver Srinivas were also questioned.
Director Mani Ratnam booked for animal cruelty
The Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) has demanded an inquiry into the film director Mani Ratnam. PETA India reported that this demand is arising due to the death of a horse during the shooting of Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan. Let us tell you that on August 11, a horse had died on a private land near a film studio. A police officer in Hyderabad said on Thursday that they had registered the case on August 18 following a complaint by a whistleblower from PETA India. He further informed that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the management of Madras Talkies Production House and the owner of the horse under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (PCA) and IPC. The post-mortem of the horse has been done and its report is awaited.
