The next hearing of the defamation case will be on October 18.
Javed Akhtar defamation case will now be heard on October 18. The chief metropolitan magistrate in charge has sought the comments of the Andheri judge on Kangana Ranaut’s plea to transfer the defamation case. In which Kangana said that she has lost faith in the Andheri court. Earlier on September 21, for the first time in the court, Javed Akhtar and Kangana had a face-off regarding this case. During this, both of them did not talk to each other. Even Kangana was asked by the judge only her name. After the hearing of the court, the court adjourned the hearing of the matter till November 15. Magistrate ST Dante, who was hearing the matter on Friday, said that the hearing will take place only after knowing the decision of the 10th Metropolitan Magistrate.
Sunil Shetty to make OTT debut with Invisible Woman
Suniel Shetty is going to make his OTT debut with the web series Invisible Woman. This noir action thriller series by Tamil director Rajesh M. Selva also stars Esha Gupta. Invisible Woman is going to go on floors soon. 60-year-old Sunil has shared the news of his debut through a post on social media. Sunil liked the story of the webseries and gave his nod for it. Sunil said that I was waiting for the right project to enter the OTT world. And Invisible Woman is a right move to make her way into the digital space. Sunil Shetty was last seen in Sanjay Gupta’s gangster drama Mumbai Saga.
Attack will release on January 26
John Abraham’s film Attack will release on January 26. The action-packed film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet. Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, the film was earlier scheduled to release on August 14, 2020, but the Covid-19 pandemic delayed its release. The film is jointly produced by Abraham, Jayantilal Gada and Ajay Kapoor. Meanwhile, John has also recently announced the release date of Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. Which will be released in cinemas on 8 July 2022. Also John Milap will be seen in Milan Zaveri’s ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’. The film will release on November 26, 2021.
Priyanka-Nick turn producers of Chicken and Biscuit
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra recently announced that they will co-produce Douglas Lyon’s Broadway comedy ‘Chicken and Biscuit’. To this, Nick said that this comedy is about love, laughter and family. Chicken and Biscuit is Priyanka Chopra’s first Broadway project. The team of makers also includes Hunter Arnold, Leah Michaelos, Pamela Ross, E Clayton Cornelius, Kayla Greenspan, Kurt Cronin, John Petrakis, John Joseph, Mapleseed Productions and Invisible Wall Productions. Priyanka is currently shooting for Amazon Prime Video’s show Citadel in the UK. He has many projects in the pipeline.
