Shahid will be seen as a paratrooper in ‘Bull’
Shahid Kapoor is in discussion these days about his upcoming film ‘Jersey’, which will be released in theaters on 31 December 2021. Meanwhile, another film of Shahid has been announced. In which he is going to be seen playing a very dangerous role. The name of his film is ‘Bull’. Shahid will play the role of a paratrooper in this action film. The film is based on the life of Brigadier Bulsara and true events will be shown in the film. No information has been revealed about the name of the lead actress of the film yet.
Trailer release of ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’
The trailer of Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani’s most awaited film Meenakshi Sundareshwar has been released. It is a romantic comedy film, produced by Karan Johar. The story of the film is related to two families of South. In which one is a girl’s family and the other a boy’s family. Sanya and Abhimanyu have an arranged marriage in the film, but after marriage the whole story changes. Sanya is seen in the role of ‘Meenakshi’ and Abhimanyu as ‘Sundareshwar’ in the film. The long distance marriage life after the marriage of both is shown in the film. The trailer of the film reveals that the audience will get a chance to understand the different aspects of relationships, joint families, the hesitation between each other in the newly-weds and everything that happens in between. At the same time, the pair of Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani is looking very good in the trailer. While Sanya looks absolutely bubbly and outspoken, Abhimanyu looks serious. The film will be released on November 5 on the OTT platform Netflix.
52nd IFFI: OTT players to participate in the festival for the first time
The 52nd edition of International Film Festival of India i.e. IFFI will be held in Goa from 20 to 28 November. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur informed that for the first time, IFFI has invited leading OTT players to participate in the festival. Along with this, he told that Istvan Szabo and Martin Scorsese will be honored with the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd International Film Festival of India in Goa.
